Fellow Workers,
What follows is the ‘blurb’ requested by Alimentation, to go up on their website, to encourage people to spend money on buying a long-playing record that they don’t need and might never play more than once.
STAY is the soundtrack album to the feature length motion picture STAY.
STAY the album exists in its physical vinyl form in an edition of 1,000.
STAY is only available over a physical counter from Zippy either at Kearney’s Fleshers in Cushendall in the Glens of Antrim in the north of Ireland or at The 25 Comeback Special at the Cushendall Golf Club on the evening of the 30th of August 2025.
Or…
Online here at Alimentation.
STAY is the second in a set of five albums to be recorded and released by Penkiln Burn Recordings that may never be recorded or released until they actually have been.
STAY contains two versions of six songs written and recorded by The Artists In Residence.
The Artists in Residence comprise:
VerseChorusVerse
Miss Paula Flynn
The Gold Tips
Duke Special
Tanya Mellotte
and…
Arborist
Side Two of this album are six songs recorded by The Artists In Residence on a cassette player in the prison cell of The Curfew Tower in Cushendall.
And…
Side One of this album compromises of the same six songs but this time recorded in full and glorious splendour in two recording studios in Belfast with the full backing of The Gold Tips.
You are invited to compare and contrast the two versions. And then express your displeasure at having bought an album that contains the same songs twice.
There is also one instrumental track that has its own story.
We don’t need to go into that here.
Any further information regarding this album can be found on the sleeve notes and the lyric sheet that come with the album.
Any further information regarding the film STAY can be found until the 31st of August 2025 on the Penkiln Burn site.

Or…
You can watch two trailers for the film STAY,
The first of these trailers contains the first verse of 40 Hours To Memphis by VerseChorusVerse.
The second of these two trailers contains verse two of Are You Still The King? by Arborist.
Both of these songs are on the album STAY.
Yours, from the shop floor,
Brush (Your Shop Steward)
